He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion James and Linda Lee Shipp (Farmer); and his brother-in-law Roger Barney. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Lynn Mansfield Shipp (Abel); his mother-in-law Georgia Abel; his sister Tammy Barney; his nieces, Jennifer and April Barney; his nephew Derek Barney; his stepchildren, Dustin, Thomas and Shawn Mansfield; and his stepgrandchildren, Axell, Monte and Malibu.
