He was predeceased by: his parents, William James and Goldie May Bethel (Nabb); his sons, Cory and Richard Bethel; his siblings, Pearl Clifton, Dorothy Phillips, Kenneth Bethel and Bob Bethel; and also Chris Baker.
He is survived by: his wife Glenna Jean Garner; his daughters, Lisa Shaver (Troy), Leslie Whytsell (Jeff), Lynette Cox (Lloyd) and Lori Draher (Tim); his great grandchild Dillon Cerana; his grandchildren, Angie, Danielle, Misty, Britney, Melissa, Veronica, Desiry, Wayne, Kyle and T. J.; and his siblings, Trevison Bethel, Gloria Coverdale and Jean Hennis. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
