She was predeceased by: her parents, Luella Wires Rexroad (Vickers) and George Wires; her former husband James E. Mahaffey; her stepfather Kenny Rexroad; and her aunt Fairy Snedeker.
She is survived by: her spouse Laurell E. Burdette; her stepson Calvin Burdette (Denise); and her stepsiblings, Gary Wires (Eileen), Don Wires (Vicky), Ronald Wires (Liz) and Becky Miller. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
