She was predeceased by: her parents, James M. Carpenter and Helen Carpenter (Rector); and her siblings, Fred Carpenter, Walter Carpenter and June Carpenter.

She is survived by: her siblings, Evelyn Martin of Dover and Donald Carpenter (Nancy) of Dover; and her niece Ann Walker (Will) of Uhrichsville. She is also survived by great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.
