It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George U. Barnes of Uhrichsville, Ohio, who passed away on July 20, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William F. Barnes and Muriel Barnes (Hatfield); his brother William L. Barnes; and his great grandchild Kingston Barnes. He is survived by: his children, Brenda Ickes (Roy) of Uhrichsville, Kevin Barnes (Pamela) of Canton, Mary Pena Garcia (Elias) of Uhrichsville and Melissa Squires (Shane) of Uhrichsville; his sister Esther Kinsey (Sam) of Melborne, Florida; and his grandchildren, Shane Squires Jr., Drew Dillon (Alyssa), Katelynn Albaugh (Austin), Jeremiah Beamer (Taylor), Kathleen Dillon, Dewayne Squires (Heather), Tricitdy Barnes, Alexis Barnes (Spencer), Victoria Smith, Taylor Auflick, Reyna Pena Stalder, Cody Barnes (Lisa), Jaci Runyon, Alexandra Ickes and Samantha Ickes. He is also survived by nineteen great grandchildren.
