He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Robert and Sophie Elizabeth Golec (McCluskey). He is survived by: his wife Sandra Sue "Sandy" (Cavanaugh); his sons, Scott Golec (Terrie), Frank Golec (Mecca) and Shaun Golec (Celeste); his grandchildren, Zach Golec (Darcie), Caitlyn Hutchinson, Kyrsten Lyons (Nick), Courtney Thompson (Geoff), Shauna Golec, Austin Golec, Christian Newsome, Rochelle Seibert (Eric), Daniel Grove (Nikki), Jeffrey Grove (Torie), Lucas Grove (Julie), Kaitlyn Rosenblatt (Noah), Seth McMath (Amy), Ronald Borne, II and Bryce Borne; his siblings, Rose Wanosick (Steve), Barb Eickleberry (late Don), Karen Jamerson (late Ernie), Don Golec (Janet), Roy Golec (Sharon) and Jim Golec (Debbie); and his in-laws, Jackie Smith (Fred), Bonnie Sparkman (Bob) and William Cavanaugh (Betty). He is also survived by many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
