It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel Emil Kappler of Uhrichsville, Ohio, born in Dennison, Ohio, who passed away on April 25, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Jan Kappler (Rectanus); his parents, Alice Margaret Kappler (Dauterman) and Emil Kappler; his grandparents, Ann and Albert Dauterman; his sister Emily Garrison (Kappler); his stepmothers, Helen Kappler (Broermann) and June Kappler (Beselaere); and his aunt Ruth Johnston (Dauterman).
He is survived by: his children, Amy Volpe (Meredith) of Delaware, Ohio and Jamie Kappler (Kathy) of Canton, Ohio; his grandchildren, Mel, Adam, Owen, Jak and Ridley; and his brothers, Ken, Billy and John Kappler.
