He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Harold and Juanita McDermott (Weiss); and his brother Girard McDermott. He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou McDermott (Weimer); his brother Jeffrey R. McDermott; and his nieces, Michelle Yenick (Dustin) and Jasmine McDermott.
