He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Applegarth and Janice Applegarth (Bell). He is survived by: his wife Dorothy (Haney); his daughters, Tonia Devore (Henry) of Uhrichsville, Tara Hanes of Uhrichsville and Amanda Shepherd (Kevin) of Uhrichsville; and his grandchildren, Whitney Cox (Doug) of Dennison, Josie Jones of New Philadelphia, Logan Devore of Canton and Preston Hill of Cambridge. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren and three brothers.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a private funeral will be held at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory at Dover.
