He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur C. Zay and Gertrude M. Zay (Spence); his wife Donna I. Zay (Polen); his brother Jim; his sister-in-law Carole Zay; and his son-in-law Tim Ohler.
He is survived by: his daughters, Linda M. Ohler of Dennison, Cathrine M. Wheeler (Matthew) of Uhrichsville, Robin A. Swonger (William) of Dover and Christine L. Sapp of Uhrichsville. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
