She was predeceased by: her parents, David Jediah Maxwell, Sr. and Bertha C. Maxwell (Isenberg); her siblings, Alice Maxwell, Thelma Barth and David "Jake" Maxwell (Phyllis); her husband William E. "Tuffy" Abel; her daughter-in-law Jeanne Abel; and her granddaughter Jody Golec.
She is survived by: her children, Diane Edgar (Brian) and Mike Abel; her grandchildren, Emily Edgar, Jeffrey Abel and William Abel (Kari); and her great grandchildren, Corey, Taylor Golec, Hadley, Piper and Hudson Abel.
