She was predeceased by: her parents, Olie Parks and Alma Parks (Olson); and her former husband Richard L. Munro. She is survived by: her children, Lisa Munro, James C. Munro (Diana) of Akron and Richard L. Munro (Jean) of Raleigh; her grandchildren, Jeremy, Hannah, Willow and Morgan Munro; her great grandchildren, Keighlyn Munro and Ezra Hinton; her siblings-in-law, Ruth, Katherine and Carl; and her close friend Rydeka. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
