He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Barbara; his sons, Daniel (Nancy) and Kevin (Leslie); his grandchildren, Kaley and Jane O'Donnell; his siblings, Patsy Kalchert, Cathy Giulivo (Emil), Jim O'Donnell (late Audrey) and Owens; and his sisters-in-law, Kay Flanagan (late John), Marilyn Hogye and Ellen Pahoresky (Robert). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations The First Tee of Cleveland.
