We are sad to announce that on November 21, 2023, at the age of 87, Merle Richard Riggs (Twinsburg, Ohio), born in Marion, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Riggs and Goldie Riggs; his wife Geraldine Beatrice Riggs; his stepmother Eleanor Riggs; and his siblings, Imogene, Helen, Charles, Jack and William.

He is survived by: his daughters, Geraldine Beatrice Algeri (Charles), Loretta Lynn Hunt, Victoria Lee Riggs and Kathryn Flanigan (Thomas); his grandchildren, Joshua Algeri (Dana), Justin Algeri (Alexis), Cody Algeri (Lauren), Kamie Hunt, Chelsea Riggs, Hannah Jordan (Cody), Merle Riggs, Jacob Riggs (Page), Abigail Flanigan and James Flanigan; and his great grandchildren, Taylor, Lucy, Evaline, Mayla, Dahlia, Phoenix, Mackenzie, Adi and Houston. He is also survived by extended family and dear friends.
