He was predeceased by: his children, Noreen Fraser (Woody), Bernard "Buzz" (Janie) and Bill (Corinne); his parents, Irvin Friend and Margaret Friend; and his brother Neal.
He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline; his children, Colleen (late Bob Ketch), Kathleen "Cooper", Laura Barney (Fred), Lucy Hutchison (Mark "Hutch"), Bridget Laurin (Paul) and Patrick (Michele); and his sisters, Marjorie Solander and Carolyn Nieset.
