He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Dean and Ruth Jayne McPeek (Wright). He is survived by: his wife Donna Marie (Cottrill); his children, Andrew McPeek (Rachel), Elizabeth McPeek, Seth McPeek (McKenzie) and Jordan Hartford (Simon); his grandchildren, Elliett, Lincoln and Andersen; and his siblings, Kim Butcher (Albert), Mary Ann Milligan and Pat McPeek. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
