He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer and Ruth; and his brothers, Chalmers and Raymond Smith. He is survived by: his wife Anna Belle Smith (Trushell); his children, Sue Smith of Tuscarawas, Linda Norman (Dave) of Newcomerstown, Glenn "Bubba" Smith (Bonnie) of Uhrichsville, Rose Smith of Tuscarawas and Christina Smith of Pennsylvania; his brother Kenneth Smith (Barb) of Uhrichsville; his brother-in-law Ralph Trushell (Wanda); his grandchildren, Jessica "Shon" Smith, Mark Norman, Devin Norman (Peggy), Pamela Honabarger (Jeff) and Justin Smith; and his great grandchildren, Abby Fox (Spencer), Reed Honabarger, Marshall Norman, Kennedy Norman, Jaylyn Kellogg, Ayla Norman, Ezra Norman and Paris Norman.
