With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Van D. Jackson of Troy, Ohio, born in Covington, Ohio, who passed away on May 11, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Jackson and Minnie Mae Jackson (Adams); his wife Betty Jackson (Hocker); and his siblings, Charles Jackson, Clyde Jackson, Otis Jackson, Warren Jackson, Andrew Jackson, John Jackson, Helen Jackson, Leona Fritz and Alma Stewart.

He is survived by: his son Vaughn; his daughter-in-law Kay Jackson (Knaeble) of Pleasant Hill; and his siblings, Aubrey Jackson and Ruth Roeth. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
