He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Ishmael and Harriet Ishmael (Anthony); and his sister Barbara Grilliot. He is survived by: his wife Linda Ishmael (Battson); his children, Christina Ishmael, Beth Ryan (Mike) of Parkland, FL and Kit Ishmael; and his brothers, Doug Ishmael of Troy and Michael Ishmael. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
