With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Thomas George Caughell of Troy, Ohio, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Thomas George leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Caughell and Mary Caughell (Freshour); his wife Mary M. Caughell (Hornburg); his children, Steven Michael Caughell (Jodene) of Troy and Mary Catherine Sawchek; and his grandson Michael Sawchek.
He is survived by: his daughters, Janet Borgstadt (Dan) of Phoenix, AZ and Susan Shroyer; and his brother Ed Caughell (Deb Debates). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the Troy Country Club (1830 Peters Rd, Troy, OH 45373). A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Walnut Grove Cemetery (5561 Milton Ave, Worthington, OH 43085).
