Though Spero Leo may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Spero Leo touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Mengos and Margaret Rowlett (Clawson); his sister Sharon Mengos; and his stepfather Bill Rowlett. He is survived by: his wife Janet K. Mengos (Gaier); and his children, Tony Mengos of Troy, Nick Mengos (Therese) of Troy, Mimi (Mengos) and Torello (Chris) of Lebanon. He is also survived by three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
