He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin G. Francis and Addie Marie Francis (Ford); his brothers, Galen Francis and Marvin; and his son-in-law Gary Niswonger.
He is survived by: his daughters, Marcia Niswonger, Rita Cromes (David), Mary Giesseman (Randy) and Susie Barhorst; and his brother Lester Francis (Lennett) of Casstown. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 9:15 AM to 10:15 AM at the St. Patrick Catholic Church (409 E Main St, Troy, OH 45373). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Maynard's preferred charity, St. Jude's Children Hospital, or to Ohio's Hospice of Miami County.
