She was predeceased by: her parents, Merle Hornburg and Ida Hornburg; her children, Steven Michael Caughell (Jodene) of Troy and Mary Catherine Sawchek; and her grandson Michael Sawchek.
She is survived by: her husband Thomas George Caughell; and her daughters, Janet Borgstadt of Phoenix, AZ and Susan Shroyer. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
