John Owen Hurd Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Owen Hurd of Troy, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 12, 2024 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Junior Hurd and Freida Guttner Hurd; and his son Joel. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte; his children, Paul Hurd (Kerry) of Columbus and Megan Zaumeyer (Chris) of Troy; his grandchildren, Owen Zaumeyer, Nolan, Avery and Ainsley Hurd; and his pets, Frankie and Sparks. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
A reception was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sly Family Funeral Home (15670 W High St, Middlefield, OH 44062).
