He was predeceased by: his parents, George Nimer and Julia Nimer (Nasser); his wife Margaret Alice Hillegass; his siblings, George, Jr., Samuel, James Nimer, Helen Jowdy and Jean Haddad; and his son Fred Nimer Jr..
He is survived by: his family, Daniel J. Nimer of Troy, Bradley J., Jenny A. Nimer of Tipp City, Tyler J., Mickie Nimer of Tipp City, Julia M. Nimer of Troy and Patrice M. Cook of Tipp City; his grandchildren, Kristen Carnes (Jeremy) of Vandalia, Dustin Cook (Joni) of Louisville, KY, Lindsay Kraft (RC), Milton, Jamie Cook of Troy, Danielle Smith (Wade) of Alexandria, KY, Jackie Nimer of Scarsdale, NY, Beau Nimer (Sheila) of West Chester, Samantha Nimer of Vandalia, Taylor Finn (Geoff) of Troy, Luke Nimer of Tipp City and Abbi Nimer of Troy; and his sisters, Madeline Jowdy of Danbury, CT and Yvonne LeFevre of Florida. He is also survived by 21 great grandchildren.
