He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Brandenburg and Elsie Brandenburg (Williams); his wife Patricia Alice Brandenburg; and his siblings, Roy, Willis, Clem, Morce, Carrol Brandenburg, Mila Carpenter, Lila Weber and Barbara Brandenburg.
He is survived by: his children, Charlotte Collins (Scott) of Troy, David Brandenburg of Bellefontaine and Douglas Brandenburg (Rhonda) of Goose Creek, SC. He is also survived by six grandchildren, and fifteen great-grandchildren.
