With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charles Edward Zellner of Troy, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 8, 2024 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Zellner and Mabel Zellner (Lehr); his wife Marijane (Hopkins); his sister Ada; his brother-in-law Frank Flower; and his niece Joan Valentine (Scott).
He is survived by: his children, Karen Gillen (Stephen) of Sunbury and Scott Zellner (Laura) of Ft. Wayne, Indiana.; his nieces, Debbie Flower (Gerry), Linda Flower (Gary) and Ann Flower; his grandchildren, Scott Charles Zellner (Lauren Shaman), Katie Zellner, Amy Sieber (Scott) and Melissa Billy (Zachary); and his great grandchildren, Colton, Connor, Nolan and Hailey.
Throughout his professional career spanning four decades, he made significant contributions to the printing industry working at McCalls, Dayton Press, and finally at Reader's Digest in Pleasantville, NY.
