Bettyann Walker Obituary
We bid farewell to Bettyann Walker of Troy, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 16, 2024 at the age of 98. Bettyann touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Sigler and Grace Sigler; her brothers, Jack and John Sigler; and her son-in-law Michael Showah.
She is survived by: her daughters, Dowlene McGrath (Roger) of Aiken, Carolina and Nicki Showah of Franklin, Tennessee; her grandchildren, Butch McGrath (June), Suzann Riley (Paul), Barry McGrath (Debbie), Holly James, Jason Showah (Sunny) and Mandi Matlock (Robbie); her cousins, Jackie McGuane and Judy Hartman; her pet Gizzy; and also Chris Kovar. She is also survived by 18 great grandchildren, 29 great-great grandchildren, and 6 great-great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 20th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Baird Funeral Home (555 N Market St, Troy, OH 45373). A prayer will be held on Sunday, October 20th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to Miami County Animal Shelter or Miami County Habitat for Humanity.
