We are sad to announce that on November 30, 2024, at the age of 93, Alven Albert Osting of Troy, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Bernard and Veronica Mary Osting (Elwer); and his siblings, Wilfred, Eugene, Moletus, Urban, Edward, Louie, Earl, Roger, Geraldine, LaDonna, Marie, Vera and Earline.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Florence Osting (Brunn); his children, Philip M. Osting (Debra) of Troy, Jeffrey A. Osting (Deborah) of Piqua, Robert J. Osting (Toni) of West Milton, Christopher Osting (Lynne) of Doylestown and Cheryl Lee Hughes of Barberton; and his brother Norman Osting (Karen) of Troy. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren and two step grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Patrick Catholic Church in Troy.
