He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Young and Viola Young; his wife Wynolia Young; and his siblings, Rudolph Young, Ruth Stone, Hazel Garrett and Maxine Spence.

He is survived by: his children, Jay Young (Andrea), Jana Adams and Dawn Adams; and his grandchildren, Jerrod Young, Taylor Young and Paige Young. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other beloved relative.
