She was predeceased by: her husband Lawrence Bernard; her parents, Kenneth Wagner and Margaret Wagner (Miller); her brothers, Thomas and John Wagner; and her daughter Marilyn Nipper.

She is survived by: her children, Ken Bernard (Marsha), Cathy Knopp (John IV), Terry Bernard (Velma), Mark Bernard (Thom) and Greg Bernard (Karen Skelton); and her grandchildren, Beth (David), Jack (Tamra), Eric (Arian), Dina (Dan), Paul (Roxana) and Thomas (T'Keyha). She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
