He is survived by: his wife Beverly Mefford (Davis); his children, John Mefford, Chris Applegate (Brenda), Lisa Knutson, Jerry Mefford, Sherrie Jarrett (Scott), Cindy Marcum (Travis) and Travis Mefford; his sisters, Violet Kirk (Gary), Elvira Shiveley (Tom), Patricia Blevins and Dianna Stratton; and his close friend Boe Wesley. He is also survived by 43 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren on the way; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
