He was predeceased by: his parents, James Carl Paynter and Verne Paynter Untied (Neville). He is survived by: his wife Linda Aitken Paynter; his children, Tony Paynter (Jamie) of Trinway and Amy Smith (Dan) of McConnelsville; his grandchildren, Nathan R. Paynter, Jessica L. Paynter, Zackary Dearinger and Dakota Dearinger; and his siblings, Jack Paynter and Jacqueline Garner. He is also survived by seven great- grandchildren.
