He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Banks and Pauline Faulkner Banks; and his sister Rose J. Fawns. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Banks (Keith); his children, Barbara Glenn (Matt) and David Banks (Jessica Gillespie); and his grandchildren, Dylan Banks (McKennzie Martin), Alexis Banks, Matti Glenn and Peyton Glenn. He is also survived by six sisters, four brothers, and many extended family and friends.
