He is survived by: his wife Tonya; his children, Christina Buchanan (Ed), Thomas Weaver (Robin), Richard Minor, Duane Minor and Gayle Edwards (Mike); and his sister Loretta Gehron (David). He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
