He was predeceased by: his parents, Walker Tewart and Johnann Tewart (Puckett); and his siblings, Earl, Orville "Barney", Raymond "Jake", Irma and Faye.
He is survived by: his wife Louise Tewart. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and many other loving family members and friends.
