He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sweeney and Ethel Pence Sweeney; his wife Helen Sweeney; and his brothers, Austin and Earl.
He is survived by: his sons, Larry Sweeney (Lisa) and John Arnett (Brenda); his grandchildren, Shannon Brubaker (Josh), Heather Krammes (Michael), Charles Sweeney and Steven Brown; his great grandchildren, Gretchen Krammes and Alexander Krammes; and his sister Pearl Childers. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
