She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Carter and Allie Carter (Black); and her brothers, Maynard, Ted, Larry and Ronnie Carter.
She is survived by: her husband Delbert Barrett; her children, Stephen Ray Barrett and Brenda Kay Barrett; her grandchildren, Stephen Tyler Barrett, Michael Branden Barrett-O'Quin and Nicole Allianna Barrett; and her siblings, Millard, William Harold, Bobbie Ray, Naomi Carter Mason, Anna Ruth Carter Shoureas, Elva Lois Carter Heitfield, Carol Fay Carter Roskuski, Vicky Carter Swartzkoph, JoAnn Carter Grant, Wanda Carter McGlone and Louise Carter Gutzwiller.
