He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Reid and Mamie Reid (Stewart); his siblings, Charles, Ann and Betty; and his wife Geneva Stacy (Rose).

He is survived by: his children, Tracey Hicks (William) and Todd Reid. He is also survived by five grandchildren; as well as many extended family.
