He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Murphy and Mary Murphy; his stepdaughter Amy Brewer; and his sister Bonnie Archer. He is survived by: his wife Janet Murphy; his son Shawn Murphy (Crystal); his stepdaughter Tina Jackson; his grandchildren, Lakelynn Murphy, Shyanne Jackson, Brandon Brewer and Brittany Carter; and his siblings, William Donald Murphy, Charlotte Cox and Kathy Murphy. He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren.
