He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Valandingham and Mildred Valandingham (Burton). He is survived by: his wife Barbara Valandingham (Chamberlain); his sons, Michael Valandingham (Kathy), Joseph Valandingham, Patrick Valandingham (Tamara) and Gregory Valandingham (Dawn); his brother David Valandingham (Sandy); his grandchildren, Sara Roy (Jamie), Emily Valandingham, Caleb Valandingham and Danae Fraley; and his great grandchildren, Cole and Connor Roy.
