He is survived by: his wife Peggy Ann Carter (Potter); his son Douglas Lee Carter, Jr.; his sister Tracey Wallace (Michael); his siblings-in-law, Linda Williams, Debbie Potter, John Potter and Kenny Potter (Joyce); his niece Keeley Wallace; his nephew Carter Wallace; his pet Cujo; and also, Gracelynn, Lillian, Makenna, Melah, Oakleigh, Lyla, Joseph and Asher. He is also survived by many extended family and friends.
