She was predeceased by: her parents, Sylvester Bryant and Agnes Bryant (Conover); her husband Steven Elder; and her sister Bettie Fields. She is survived by: her children, Traci Harding (John), Timothy Elder (Bryla) and Wendi Elder. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
