He was predeceased by: his parents, Will Smith and Sally Smith (Hubbard); his daughter Edith Marie Richardson; his siblings, Andrew Smith, Forester Smith, Floyd Smith, Anderson Smith and Cora Smallwood; and his granddaughters, Shelly King, Melissa Frame and Amy Risner.
He is survived by: his wife Arcie Smith (Collins); his daughters, Lisa Risner (Dan) and Velda Pierson (Wendell); his grandchildren, Nicole Holderman, Carrie Martin (Jeff), Jack Mannon (Mandy) and Aaron Risner; and his great grandchildren, Issac, Alyassa, Cullen, Ivey, Noah, Landen, Kylie, Jaxson, Waylon, Jack, Evan and Grayson.
