He was predeceased by : his parents, Walter J. Stanak and Helen T. Stanak (Tawrosza); his sister Patricia Carrol; his grandchildren, David Allen and Kristen Stanak; his niece Linda Mencannon; and his nephew Roger Lee Virden.
He is survived by : his wife Nancy Y. Stanak (Wass); his children, Sheri Mazurkevick, David Stanak of New Cumberland, WV and Walter Scott Stanak of New Cumberland, WV; his stepson George Ely of Toronto; and his nephew Bud Carrol.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, June 18th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the J. E. Foster Funeral Homes (701 Findley St, Toronto, OH 43964). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, June 18th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. The military honors was held on Tuesday, June 18th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
