He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles William and Ruth Louise Russell (Roush). He is survived by: his wife Jodi Russell (Dolan); his children, Shane Russell (Jessyka) of Munhall, PA, Ivan Russell (Kaitlin) of Pittsburgh, PA, Violet Wender (David) of Blacksburg, VA and Laurel Russell; his grandchildren, Sophia, Isaac, Audrey, Peter, Timothy, Katrina, Jonathan and Andrew; his siblings, Randy Russell (Beverly), Gary Russell, Ronnie Russell (Marie), Theresa McCoy (Chuck) and Alexis Russell; his goddaughters, Angela Cullinan and Vashni Wyatt; his cousins, Susan Cullinan, Caroline Roush and Diane Smith; his friend Earl Keener; and his pet Cinnamon. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a scholarship is being set up for a student from the Follansbee, Weirton, Toronto area pursuing a career in creative writing.
