He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Anna Marie Karaffa (Dahill); his mother Anna B Karaffa; his siblings, Margaret Muczynski and John Karaffa; his niece Karen Muczynski Smith; his daughters, Nancy Gill (David) and Susan Schnell (Edward Schlechty); his grandchildren, Annie Gill (Phillip Welshans), Katie Gill Walsh (Ryan), David "Joey" Gill and Julie Schnell; and his father John Kapitan Jr.. He was also cherished by great-grand-daughter due in May; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
