He was predeceased by: his parents, John Miclea and Anna Miclea; and his siblings, Maria Ulita, Elizabeth Deluce (Dominic), Victoria Benefield (Herbert), Ann Drake and George Miclea (Velma).

He is survived by: his sons, Phil (Patti) and Jeff Miclea; his grandchildren, Monica Valerio (Tomasso), JJ Miclea (Gina) and Richard Miclea (Ashley); and his great grandchildren, Amara, Anthony and Wyatt.

Donations can go to the First United Methodist church in Toronto where John was a member.

“John was tough as nails and sharp as a razor. I can still remember the day he walked into the Merrill Lynch offices in Pittsburgh some 45 years ago. When we met in person, I would always ask, "How are you doing today, John?" His response was always, "No damn good." I have so many memories of my meetings with John and Barb. They were always an entertaining experience! I am blessed to have known him. Rest in Peace, my friend; everyone at Strategic Wealth Management mourns your passing.”
