He was predeceased by: his brother Derek Hughes. He is survived by: his parents, Otis Hughes and Frances Portocarrero Hughes; his sons, Jason D. Hughes Jr. of Davenport, FL and Tristan Hughes (Kailey Pytash) of Toronto; his siblings, Darin Hughes (Ruth) of Toronto, Valerie Reda (Joe) of Las Vegas, Cheryl DeFrank (Jimmy) of Steubenville and Kathleen Duco (Steve) of Toronto; and his granddaughter Hallie Jo Hughes.
