He was predeceased by: his parents, George F. Byers and Zelda F. Byers (McConnell); his wife Peggy Ann Byers; and his son Geoffrey Byers. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Keirsten Byers and Seth Byers (Taylor Bridgeman); his great grandchild Xjavier Byers; and his siblings, Denny Byers (Debbie) and Connie McClain. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
